Inspired by one of the most recognized corporate trademarks in sound recording history, this heavy cast iron coin bank depicts the iconic terrier Nipper listening to an early horn phonograph. The timeless motif, famously titled His Master's Voice, originated from an 1898 canvas by English artist Francis Barraud depicting his late brother's dog listening attentively to a talking machine. Later adopted by The Gramophone Company and Victor Talking Machine Company, the image became an enduring symbol of early audio innovation and nostalgia.

Cast from heavy iron with a traditional multi-piece assembly, this decorative still bank features a green painted base, dark brown phonograph, and cream-colored terrier with hand-painted black ears and collar. A coin slot integrated into the dog's spine allows the piece to function as a traditional still bank or a substantial decorative paperweight for a desk or bookshelf display. The underside reveals structural screw fastenings and original foundry casting characteristics.

This piece measures approximately 6 inches in height, 7.5 inches in width, 2.75 inches in depth, and weighs 4.88 pounds.
