Constructed with a six-sided warm wood framework and dark metal wire slating, this vintage decorative birdcage evokes classic late 19th and mid-20th century domestic display traditions. The architectural silhouette features a hinged wire dome canopy secured by a metal hook latch at the top, along with a small hinged front access door. The rich stain on the wooden frame highlights subtle age wear and natural grain patterns, providing a sturdy, structured housing for botanical displays, curious collections, or standalone decorative accents.

Accompanying the cage is a cast parakeet or budgerigar figurine, hand-painted with cheerful yellow and bright green plumage, black striped wing accenting, and blue facial markings. Please note that the six-inch figurine exhibits a previous vintage repair, where its tail was reattached using tape. Together, the cage and figurine offer a nostalgic, character-rich accent piece for traditional, bohemian, or country-style interiors.

This piece measures approximately 18 inches in height, 10 inches in width, 10 inches in depth, and weighs 3.38 pounds.
